- OUR MISSION -
Our mission is simple:
- Make high quality furniture and cabinetry that lasts a lifetime;
- Use the finest materials from sustainable local sources.
With over a decade of design and production experience, making high-end bespoke furniture we know what works and what doesn't. We know what materials we like to use and which ones to avoid. Through careful design and by avoiding unnecessary complexity and variation, we are able to offer cabinetry that we think matches the highest quality available anywhere, but at prices that are affordable.
Compromising on the quality of the raw materials is a false economy, resulting in cabinetry that is not durable and cannot be repaired. The lifetime costs of the product will be significantly higher, with unusable cabinetry having to be replaced in 10 to 15 years and its components ending up in landfill where its plastic and melamine coatings never degrade.
Our furniture and cabinetry avoids this by only using the finest materials and through simple but clever design. This maximises durability and repairability for furniture that will last for years to come.
The vast majority of furniture and kitchen cabinetry purchased in the UK is currently made (as cheaply as possible) abroad, resulting in a huge loss to our economy and to our own manufacturing sector in terms of skills and jobs. That is why we source our materials direct from fantastic Scottish and UK based suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring that when you buy one of our kitchens that your money stays in the UK, boosting the local economy and helping to sustain important jobs in the manufacturing industry.
